Lady Gaga Partners With Target For Deluxe Edition of "Born This Way" - Sleeping with the enemy!
Heres the full article:
Lady Gaga, one of the most recognized music artists in the world, has partnered with Target, my favorite store, to offer fans an exclusive deluxe edition of her new album, Born This Way. Fans can pre-order Lady Gaga's album and download her first single and title track, "Born This Way," free by going here beginning at 8 AM CST today, Friday, February 11th through midnight, Friday, February 26th.
"Target and Lady Gaga together is a win-win," said Troy Carter, Lady Gaga's manager, and chairman and chief executive officer of Coalition Media Group. "The partnership provides us with an opportunity to really engage the fans early and widen our reach on the album promotion."
Lady Gaga will release her third full-length album, Born This Way, on May 23rd. Target's exclusive deluxe edition includes three additional studio songs and five remixes, and will be available at stores nationwide and on Target.com.
"We're excited to be working with Target on the launch of Born This Way," said Steve Berman, vice chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M. "We always have a tremendously successful relationship when we get together on something like this. Target provides us with the perfect platform to really turn the spotlight on the incredible album that Lady Gaga has made."
Are you planning to head to Target and buy a copy of Born This Way in May?
—Frank TJ Mackey

*** I have to also agree this is kind of strange for her to partner with target, because of the past anti gay things they had done- but maybe they are making a change and gaga is the first step- wishful thinking perhaps = lets hope not!***

Since it seems to be a WICKED day! :)
Here's a video of me singing WONDERFUL from WICKED!
HOW WICKED IS THAT? HUH?
Here's my open letter!
Dear Heidi Jo Gilbert,
If you are granted the rights to do this as an animated film, I am a big big big big big big big big Wicked fan too, I love the Wizard even if he isn't all that nice as we and elphaba used to think he was back when we watched "The Wizard of OZ", I have always wanted to play him on stage, and being I'm 24 that's just not gonna be super convincing on stage, but if I could be the animated voice- well that might be something WONDERFUL!
PLEASE CONSIDER ME! Cause I would be honored!
Thanks,
Bryce
Well :) how awesome would that be really, I mean it is my dream to play the wizard, and well being an animated voice is also something I have always wanted to do- that would be awesome!

A Wicked Cartoon? See One Animator's Dream of 'Defying Gravity'
By Broadway.com Staff February 10, 2011 - 5:31PM
Rumors about a movie version of the Broadway musical Wicked, from possible casting to potential directors, have been swirling for some time. Now animator Heidi Jo Gilbert has added her own voice to the conversation. Gilbert, an alum of Pixar, Disney and Nickelodeon, is also an avid Wicked fan, and with Jennifer Hager and Minkyu Lee, recently dedicated her talents to storyboarding the show’s signature number, “Defying Gravity,” with stunning results. Gilbert also wrote an open letter to Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz, asking if he would consider doing the film as an animated adaptation. Animation wouldn’t be a foreign endeavor for Schwartz, who co-wrote the scores for cartoon classics like Pocahontas, The Prince of Egypt and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and will reportedly do the same for the upcoming animated feature The Monkeys of Bollywood. What are your thoughts? Check out Gilbert’s work below and then decide for yourself!
Defying Gravity Storyboards from Heidi Jo Gilbert on Vimeo.
Here's the open letter to Stephen Schwartz:
Dear Stephen Schwartz,
I know you can relate to the plight of loving a story, loving a medium, and trying to convince someone in power to see your vision! You did it with Marc Platt when you convinced him to make it a stage musical. I’m just approaching you with the same sincerity. Is it possible to talk you out of doing a live action movie adaptation? Would you consider doing a traditionally animated adaptation? In my heart I think the musical needs the medium, and I think the medium needs your musical. I just love them both so much and hopefully that shows through in the story reel.
Sincerely,
Heidi Jo Gilbert

'Next to Normal'
I saw this show on Broadway last year, and now it's on a national tour.
My favorite actress Alice Ripley does an amazing job in this playing a woman struggling with illness, and showing us all that sometimes the treatment can also hurt too.
Having been there at times myself- I have a soft spot for this show- if you can check out the national tour also starring Ripley please do!
Here is a performance from the view!
Enjoy!

Addams Family - Happy/Sad and Crazier Than You
After posting earlier about how much I loved the Addams Family on Broadway when I saw it- I thought it was time to share my favorite song, 1 of the whole production which I loved!
I can't really name a song I don't love in the show, but if I had to pick my number 1, it's a close call- "Happy/Sad" and "Crazier Than You"- were both great numbers!
Oh and who doesn't love the final number of the show "Move Toward The Darkness" with Lurch!
Which I won't post, cause I think if you wanna know how the finale comes to an amazing end- you should see the show for yourself, but why I am thinking about - here is also "Crazier Than You"
Bryce
Tori Love!

It's sad, but it has an amazing message if you take the time to listen with your heart!
Enjoy!
Bryce
Tori Amos: Not The Red Baron-
not the red baron
not charlie brown
think i got the message figured
another pilot down
and are their devils with halos
in beautiful capes
taking them into the flames
not judy g
not jean jean with a hallowed
heart
i see that screen go
down in the flames
with every step with every beautiful heel
pointed
not the red baron i'm sure
not charlie brown's wonderful dog
not anyone i really know
just another pilot down
maybe i'll just sing him a last
little sound many there know some girls
with red ribbons
the prettiest
red
ribbons

I saw the show last year, and I still listen to the cast recording!
This show needed a shout out, for one of the funnest nights you could have on Broadway!
The Book of Mormon- a new Broadway musical (promo)
Although the topic is a widely discussed one for people, I think the writers know what they are doing, and this musical could either end up a brand new smash hit, and I predict it just might, or this could turn bad-
Either way, I can' wait to see it!
Watch the promo, and let your mind wonder, cause we are about to find out what this show is all about soon!

Thanks for treating me kindly, I know we don't know each other, but if we had I imagine it would be because we struck up a conversation shopping, or waiting in line somewhere.
I can't wait to meet you, you might turn in to one of the greatest of friends,
Bryce
Dear you know who the fuck you are! RIGHT?
You really screwed me up badly, because of you it is hard for me to move on, and I have trust issues galore.
regardless of that you are still an amazing person, and I still love you very much, Love is unconditional even in the hardest of times.
Wishing we had closure,
Bryce
Day 5 - Your dreams.
so if I had to write a letter!
Dear Dreams,
PLEASE STOP SCARING THE FUCK OUT OF ME- THE FUTURE REALLY WONT BE LIKE THAT RIGHT?
Bryce
Day 4 -Your siblings, or closest family member.
Dear little brother,
How are you? I hope all is well in your world, and I hope you find this note in good time!
I think about what you might be doing often as we don't get to see each other much. :) However I know that every time I see you, I can tell you are growing up to be one of the smartest kids I have ever met- You taught me how to find the bonus features on a blu-ray disc, I thought it was kinda funny since you so much younger than me; its amazing how much you already know about technology, where when it changes for me I stumble but you seem to go with the flow.
:) I respect that very much, and I know that perhaps one day you will do something with that.
Your going to be a great young adult soon, and I can't wait to see what comes next.
Love,
Bryce

30 days of notes! note 1: Your best friend!
Hello! Thanks for always being a great friend. I have decided to make you my 1st note in 30 days of notes.
:) I can name alot of great times we have had in the past, and I am thankful for all those times.
Also, I am hoping that those times continue more.
We have met many people together, and gone and done so much, and yet you are always there when needed.
My fav. of those times was my car catching on fire... with miles of oil trails from columbus all the way down the highway, and when you came to pick me off the side of the road- A COP RECOGNIZED ME OFF YOUTUBE, and then offered to take me home.
Thank you for being my rescue that day- I might of been abducted by an official who knew how to cover it up.
Your also always there whenever I need someone to talk too, and I appreciate that very much!
I Thank you for being a great friend.
Thanks,
Bryce

Praying and Wishing?
I came across a blind statement from someone a little while ago, it struck a chord with me- the fact was someone was praying, and asking the god they believed in for favor- in church one might be taught to pray for guidance, but asking for favor among all the other men/woman in the world seemed a bit selfish to me. I was always taught that everyone is equal, and no man or person is greater than the other, you are only as strong as your weakest link. Then I got to thinking again, are the people who pray for favor then misguided? To have the thought that you above all other people deserve blessings from your "god" because you feel you are owed something, isn't that rather narcissistic- I mean really?
To think you are praying and being heard by "god" whom ever you choose to believe in when others might be praying simply for the well being of a sick loved one? or for a miracle cure for a disease even the smartest doctor can't cure for the sake of perhaps a dying spouse? Don't these seem to be more reasonable request then say- asking for money, or something for yourself, as if you are deserving of them.
Doesn't society alone teach us to work hard to get what we want?
It's funny one would pray for such a thing as that they have authority on a matter that might be deemed irrelevant to the world in crisis or that one could look at as selfish from a third party standpoint- I have heard that in many religions god will bless those who deserve it, not those who expect others to go out and get it for them- perhaps in time that lesson will be made more clear to those who don't seem to understand it. Even myself at times struggle with that very message- blessings come to those who "God" favors or believes is deserving, not those who just ask for something expecting things to happen- because they ask? Another example would be to say that you can wish on the star, but it can only shine the way, the work has to come from you, and within a time you might say the star was able to guide you- but in the end the payoff would be that you made your own way, and therefor were proud of your work. Wishing for something good to end, to bring you happiness is probably not the best way to go about good favor from the higher beings, or other believers that hard work does eventually pay off- as someone like me would want to say to you! It may not even be my place to have such thoughts, but when the thought occurred I scurried to get it down.
On the same token however, praying for knowledge and the betterment of ones self to me is not selfish, and perhaps a humble thing, its just ASKING FOR THINGS IN PRAYER, other than for a miracle for someone else that comes off wild to me... if you wanted something, anything is possible... GO GET IT- Don't sit around waiting on a prayer to be answered, otherwise you might be waiting along time, I like to think that "GOD" has the world in his hands, and therefor might have more important things to worry about then your wallet, or your personal wants.
This takes me back to the wishing star, one can look out and start the "I wish I may, I wish I might... have the wish I wish tonight..." routine, and this to me means you are making a concious wish to the universe, but in reverse, have you taken the steps for yourself to make that wish come true? have you thought of a way to obtain that for yourself, or are you sitting around waiting on the world to just unfold in your lap- little secret- THE WORLD WILL NEVER DO THAT- ALL GOOD THINGS COME WITH HARDWORK, AND THE PAYOFF IS THAT AMAZING FEELING YOU ARE ABOUT TO GET WHEN YOU ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS- TRUST ME- I AM LEARNING THIS EVERYDAY MYSELF.
I know when I pray, I normally find myself thinking of other people, knowing somewhere out there already someone else is probably sending the same good vibes my way, and perhaps also putting a good word in for me.
I pray for peace and harmony, good will towards men! I don't think I could ever pray for money, or something that is materialistic in nature for the simple fact - in my life I think "God " has more important things to worry about.
I don't mean to offend anyone in this note: I just simply see post dealing with religion from time to time, but then they also often times seem very selfish to me.
Perhaps some of you may look at this and think the thought process doesn't flow- but I can say the idea is there- if you choose to find it. :)
