So I have always been a Rufus Wainwright fan- and tonight - well I thought I would share the first song by Rufus I ever heard- before becoming a fan!

So there I was at Walmart- I look in the Clearance bin, and what do I find- 2 days before the massive free for all! Champions Online! You guessed it! This bundle included the game, and not just the regular free 30 days, but an extra 30 days of game time for free too! making it a 30.00 value! Kinda Cool!
Getting the extra 30 days was kinda difficult cause they are in the middle of changing- I had to talk to a online chat support person, but he helped me and we moved along, so actually not difficult, just an extra step to get what I paid for.
I remember when the game came out friends and I talked about it- it was 50.00 and we all loved City of Heroes! This is the same reason someone like me would love DC UNIVERSE ONLINE- which I wrote about a few days ago- so here is is- I am sitting here downloading the patch waiting to get in there and see all the good stuff- but why this game? Well i liked the idea of not only creating your own character- but your own arch nemesis- cause every Hero (Champion) needs one of those, and then well you can go in reverse too!
As it stands and the patch is downloading on my computer I am sitting here watching the game play action on youtube, and it sure looks like those gamers are having a bit too much fun, and it makes me axious to be doing the same- so that's where it is!

Anne Hathaway to play CATWOMAN- in BATMAN:DARK KNIGHT RISES
This is an interesting choice with Anne Hathaway- I must say I loved her as the WHITE QUEEN in Alice in Wonderland from Tim Burton, and I expect great things.
My personal fave to play the role so far is Michelle Pfeiffer- in the batman movies from the not to recent past.

Let's hope she can play this role and make me happy, next to Poison Ivy- I've always had a spot woman for the cat lady!

If you aren't your probably a "Virgin"- which is undoubtedly the term for newcomer seeing the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, for the first time in a theater. What are you 13? It's been around for a long time!
Now I know some of my readers are close to Columbus, Ohio- which is my hometown- but I still recommend you still see this live- and some theaters have what is called a "Shadow cast"- where a group of people do a live performance for you right in front of the movie screen! Now if you don't wanna call these people a Shadow cast, you could call them GEEKS, some of them may like that - but people the proper term is "Cult enthusiast"...
Also at these shows, you can bring props and play along, such as to make it rain you might bring a water gun - if someone mentions a "Great Scott" you might throw toilet paper- but I'm not telling you why or when during the show- cause if something hits you during the show- you weren't paying attention- also you might be daft- cause I just gave you a VERY BIG CLUE!
Also, don't mind the yelling people next to you, and they aren't trying to ruin the movie- those are CALLBACKS - and you can look some of them up online to learn them why watching the movie- which has a very good Anniversary Edition DVD set out which includes the said sequel to RHPS called Shock Treatment with it!

My favorite place to see Rocky Horror performed live like this is actually right in my hometown down at Studio 35, why because they are a cinema and a drafthouse- so let's think about this- Why do I like it: Cult Film +Booze = Fun! Enough said!

If you aren't from around Columbus, or you don't plan to visit soon- then you should deff. check your local area- there are cast doing this everywhere- and it is a fun time to be had for all- if you are a parent taking your kids and dropping them off might not be a good idea- but make it a family thing, and use your own judgement- if your a parent have you ever watched ROCKY HORROR- then you know what it is about, and what might be going on in a theater showing this- Remember it is not the cast job to watch you kid- nothing bugs me more going to see RHPS then to see this happening- it takes it away for those of us who enjoy the show! RANT OVER!
Let me introduce you to my favorite shadow cast- THE FISHNET MAFIA (Distant Cousins if you will to THREE SIX MAFIA- WHO DEFIANTLY DOES NOT PERFORM RHPS- HOWEVER FUNNY THAT MIGHT BE)

NO H8
So for those of you who don't already know what the NO H8 campaign is- and what they are doing, I thought I would take a moment to share. This campaign has been around for awhile- but they are commonly known for taking pictures of celebrities, and familiar faces as well as having photo shoots of other people, groups, and special creative people. These photos are then sold for the cause to raise support against discrimination, and the unfair treatment of others. That is how I would describe the NO H8 campaign in my own words.

Meanwhile I went and looked into the more notable people who have had their shot taken for the campaign and picked out quite of few of my top favorite pics- this post will be lengthy because of pictures- but I promise it will be worth it! ABC turning WICKED into an 8 hour mini series! OMG! GREAT OZNESS!
Wicked - the novel by Gregory Mcguire is being turned into an 8 hour mini series on ABC. How amazingly ozness is that for fans of the book and musical? Now we can't be sure it's going to be anything like the musical, as it will be based on the novel- but that's still pretty awesome- RIGHT?
Selma Hayek and Erik Jendersen (who wrote "Band Of Brothers") is writing the script for ABC.
This sounds like it could be one amazing hit- and I can't wait to see what happens with this- I KNOW I WILL BE TUNED IN- Let's hope they follow more of the book and don't change around some key parts like they had too for the stage musical- because this could really make or break the series of novels- because if this goes well there could be a mini series possible for every book! I know I would love that happening, and so here's to WICKED!

Wii Fit- Working Off The Pounds!
Here is the scoop- I've been working out on my Wii fit- and according to the scale and adjusting my diet to eat a little bit better, and drinking half as much soda, and drinking more 100 percent juice and water... I have lost 5 pounds already.
For those of you who are skeptical- this is the first time something has gotten my attention when it comes to health and helping myself out getting more into fitness and it starts with the basics, and eventually builds you up to where you need to be!
ALSO before I show you a deal I found on them- let me also tell you that I have been drinking a lot of vitamin water zero- it was easier than cutting out flavors altogether and it has been making it hard to cut down on soda...
If you were thinking about getting a WII FIT- then continue reading- I found a sale and a great deal for you.
I looked around and here is the best price I found for those of you who might want to order one online- I paid 95.00 and this is on sale for cheaper than that.
Also you might like EA ACTIVE 2- it has some more exercises to try, and I am just getting around to figure it out- the plus to EA ACTIVE 2- is that it has a heart monitor and it is WII FIT BALANCE BOARD COMPATIBLE- it also lets you have your own fitness profile online to keep track of your health and loosing weight when you are on the go- which is nice for people who might travel a lot for work... also when you order the WII FIT, and register it, NINTENDO sends you a nice carrying case to help with that too.... CHECK IT OUT- you won't be disappointed!
ALSO- I WANTED TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNEW THAT EA ACTIVE 2 is not just for the WII- it works with Playstation and with XBOX as well as long as you buy the corresponding hardware!

I am so super exited about this- I will be going back to NYC to see this show for sure. I have had music from this show on my IPOD for quite sometime, and it's finally gonna happen for the wonderful cast, crew and creative team in April- Congrats guys!

The Adventure is amazingly fun, and it's a rare sort of game that holds my attention and makes me want to play it for hours on end.
The last game that has done that lately was Angry Birds on the Android phone, and Kingdom Hearts for PS2 and the gameboy system- I am hoping to eventually play the newer Kingdom Hearts themed PSP games as well.
But back to EPIC MICKEY- here is a short trailer... Go out and play this- you don't know what your missing.
